Henry Krull Dies After Brief Illness

Henry Krull, 40, died at his home in Wellsburg at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon after a brief illness. Death was due to influenza and complications.

Mr. Krull was born on a farm near here on December 11, 1902, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Krull. He spent his entire life in Grundy county. On Feb. 14, 1924, he married Tillie Boelman of Ackley, who survives with one son, John, 17, and one daughter, JoAnn, 10. Other survivors are his parents, four brothers, Art, John and Alfred, all of Wellsburg, and George of Fern, three sisters, Mrs. Russell Holcomb of Eldora, Mrs. Myron Daniels of Cedar Falls and Mrs. Ted Strong of Storm Lake.

Funeral services were held at the home of his parents at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon and later at the Second Christian Reformed church in charge of Rev. R. H. Haan. Interment was in Shiloh cemetery.

Casketbearers were Lee Etjen, Fred Kalkwarf, Ray Snittjer, Bryan Huisman, Heike Miller, Tyle Huisman. Flowerbearers were Mrs. B. F. Peters and Mrs. John Doyen. Mrs. C. H. Beecroft and Mrs. David Taffinder sang. Mrs. R. H. Haan was organist.

Obituary
Henry Krull, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Krull of Wellsburg, was born on December 11, 1902 near Ackley and died on April 17, 1942 at his home in Wellsburg at 4:20 p.m. at the age of 30 years, 4 months and 6 days.

He grew to manhood in this community and was employed throughout his whole life by different farmers of Grundy county. At the time of his death he was in the employ of Claus C. Neessen.

On February 4, 1924, he was married to Miss Tillie Boelman of Ackley. To this union were born two children, John, 17, and JoAnn, 10.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his beloved wife and two children, his parents, four brothers, George, of Fern, John Alfred and Art of Wellsburg, and three sisters, Mrs. Russell Holcomb of Eldora, Mrs. Myron Daniels of Cedar Falls and Mrs. Ted Strong of Storm Lake.

Mr. and Mrs. Loran C. Cody of Fort Dodge, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Park of Clear Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Holcomb of Eldora, Mrs. Myron Daniels of Cedar Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Strong of Storm Lake and a host of relatives and friends from surrounding communities.
