Edgar E. Junker, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Edd R. Junker, who reside two miles south of Parkersburg, passed away to be with the Lord, May 23rd, at the age of 20 days.
He was in normal condition until a few days before his death when an inward infection of some nature caused appendicitis, thus ending his short life here below.
He leaves his father and mother and a brother Richard, about two and one-half years of age.
Also grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Junker of Aplington and Mr. and Mrs. John Wassels, of Shell Rock, and a number of Uncles and Aunts on both sides.
Thus the Lord who makes no mistakes has taken one of his little ones home to the land of rest and thus escapes the sorrows and trials that many endure here below.
Trust his home call will remind our hearts again that this life is but a vapor that appeareth for a little while and then vanisheth away.
Funeral was conducted from the home Monday p.m., in charge of O. G. Smith of Waterloo. Burial at the Junker School Cemetery south of Aplington.
Card of Thanks
