Ben J. Junker, father of R. B. Junker of this township, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. R. Buseman, Sunday, March 17th, at the age of 81 years and 7 months, the cause of the death being due to a cancerous growth in the head. The funeral was held March 25th, being conducted by Rev. Kuhne and R. J. E. Drake after which the remains were laid to rest in the Drake church cemetery. Those who attended the funeral from abroad were John Junker of Britt, Iowa, Henry Junker of Mountain Lake, Minn., Fred Junker of Comfrey, Minn., and Minnie Johnson of Grundy Center.
