Final Rites Are Held For Arend Noordman

Funeral services for Arend Noordman, 48, who died at 2 a.m. Saturday, January 28, at his home in Ackley of complications of ailments, was held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home and at the Frist Christian Reformed Church with the Rev. L. Voskuil, in charge of the service. Burial will be in the cemetery adjoining the church.

Mr. Noordman was born June 20, 1890, on a farm five miles south of Ackley. On February 26, 1914, he was married Anka Heikens of Wellsburg. They made their home on a farm near here. One year ago he purchased a home in Ackley where he had since lived.

Surviving are the widow, two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Egyabroad of Ackley, Mrs. Leo Peters of Owasa, two grandchildren, six sisters, Mrs. George Boheman, Sheffield; Mrs. Simon Snittjer, Mrs. John Harms, Mrs. Mattie Fisher, Mrs. Charley Meints, Mrs. John Snittjer, and one brother, Herman Noordman all of Ackley.
