Mrs. Will C. Jutting dies Saturday at Eldora Hospital

Mrs. Will C. Jutting died Saturday, January 12, at the Eldora Hospital, where she had been a patient since January 3 and had undergone surgery January 11. Her death was caused by carcinoma.

Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Peter Eckhoff, were held at the East Friesland Presbyterian Church on Tuesday afternoon, January 15, and burial was in the church cemetery. Prayer service for the family was held at 1 o'clock at the Brandt Funeral Home.

The men's quartet of the church, composed of Ralph Aikes, Warren Lindaman, Matthew Kannegieter and Abr. H. Jaspers sang, accompainied by Mrs. J. J. Lindaman, pianist. Mrs. Fred Feikes was organist.

Mrs. John Kolthoff and Mrs. Virgil Heetland were the flower attendants, and the pallbearers were Don Martin, William L. Boelman, Thomas Sherfield, James, Gerald and Robert Willems.

Martha Willems Jutting, daughter of Gerhard and Antje Willems, was born in German township, Grundy county, September 14, 1887. On March 6, 1906 she was united in marriage to Will C. Jutting. They moved on a farm north of Cleves where they have lived since that time.

Mrs. Jutting was a member of the East Friesland Church.

She leaves her husband; three brothers, Bohle, George and Jake, all of Ackley; and five sisters, Mrs. Maggie Beving and Mrs. Louie Schultz (Hattie) of Ackley; Mrs. John Ross (Lucy), Mrs. John Jutting (Annie) and Mrs. Jerry Lutterman (Sarah), all of Wellsburg.

Her parents and three brothers preceded her in death.
