Mrs. S. TerBeck died May 10, 1913, at the age of 58 years and 25 days. She was born in Wirdum, Ostfriesland, Germany, on April 15, 1855, and was married to Sieben TerBeck in 1882, and became the mother of seven children--two sons and five daughters--of whom three daughters are married. She came to Grundy county, Iowa, in 1882, and last year the family moved to Buffalo Center. She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, seven children, three grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. To know her good and amiable traits of character as wife and mother, neighbor and friend, was to love and admire her. Funeral services were held at the home and at the German Reformed church on Tuesday, May 13, conducted by Rev. L. Watermuelder. The remains were laid to rest in the Buffalo Center cemetery.--Buffalo Center Tribune.
