P. H. Beckman Passes Away

P. H. Beckman, of Buffalo Center, Iowa, passed away September 22. Peter H. Beckman was born at Steenfelder-Kloster, East Friesland, Germany, January 17, 1870. Mr. Beckman was 52 years old at the time of his death. He came to America at the age of 12 years, and lived for some time with his parents, near Buck Grove. In 1892 he was united in marriage to Miss Attie Niehuis. Six children were born to this union. Rev. Mindrup, of Buffalo Center, had charge of the funeral services and was assisted by Rev. Meyer, of George, Ia. Burial took place in the Graceland cemetery at Buffalo Center.
