Infant Dies

Melvin Lauterbach, 5 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lauterbach, farmers living four miles northeast of here, died in the Deaconess hospital in Marshalltown Saturday of pneumonia. He is survived by his parents and two small brothers, Stanley and Dennis and many other relatives. Funeral services were held at the Lauterbach home at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and at the Pleasant Valley Evangelical church later. Both services were in charge of Rev. Walter Cerka and burial was in the church cemetery.

Casket-bearers were Elmer Harms, Raymond Hippen, Virgil Aukes, and Marvin Janssen.
