Miller Rowe, 87, of 933 Grand Blvd., Cedar Falls, Iowa, died on Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at Allen Memorial Hospital, of natural causes. He was born on April 8, 1917 in Beaman, Iowa, the son of Benjamin Harrison and Blanche H. (Crombie) Rowe. Miller graduated from Beaman High School and he attended the University of Iowa.
Miller was married to Barbara A. Nagel on June 26, 1948 in Waterloo, Iowa. She died on November 28, 1997. He worked for Flower City Box, and as the accountant and manager for Edible Soy Products in Hudson, Iowa, until his retirement. He belonged to the St. Timothy United Methodist Church Choir and sang in the AmVet Chorus in Cedar Falls. He enjoyed fishing trips to Canada and playing bridge. He was also an active member at the Cedar Falls Senior Center.
Miller is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Rowe of Cedar Falls; son, Stephen Rowe of Overland Park, Kansas; grandson, Ben Rowe of Cedar Falls; granddaughters, Andrea and Morgan Rowe of Overland Park, KS; and a sister, Ermyl Ludemann of Cedar Falls.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Keith Rowe.
