-----------------------------------------------

Genevieve Ruth Bergman was born August 23, 1929. The span of her life in the providence of God was brief. She succumbed after a week's illness on Wednesday morning, January 14, 1931 at 9 o'clock, reaching the age of 1 year, 4 months, and 22 days.

She leaves her earthly home with her grief stricken parents and one sister, Lillian Mae, besides many relatives.

The sorrowing parents have indeed the heartfelt sympathy of friends and this hour of divinely visitation.

The funeral services were held at the Reformed Church of Stout Friday afternoon after short services at the home. The pastor spoke from the text, Mark 10:14: "Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not for of such is the kingdom of God," in the English language, and in German from Job 1:21: "the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord."

The attendance at the services was unusually large for a child funeral, the church being taxed to capacity.

Interment was made in the family lot of the Stout cemetery.

Card of Thanks

We wish to express our thanks to our many friends for the kindness and sympathy shown us during the sickness and death of our beloved baby daughter.
