Died at her home in this city July 3, 1895, Mrs. Isaac Hasbrouck, aged 74 years, 11 months and 13 days. Deceased was born in Ulster county, New York, July 20, 1820. Her maiden name was Alma Caroline Bonesteel. She was united in marriage to Isaac Hasbrouck October 20, 1842, and to them were born six sons and two daughters. The eldest son and the daughters preceded her to the spirit land some years ago. Last September deceased had the misfortune to fall and receive injuries that confined her to her bed and ever since she had been an invalid and a continual sufferer; but she bore it all with patience and christian fortitude. She was a kind mother, and a faithful companion to her aged husband who is left alone, but has but a few short years to linger behind. Deceased was a member of the German Baptist, (or Brethren) church, and died in the full assurance of faith. Death was a welcome visitor and relieved her of many months of suffering. The funeral was conducted at the above named church by Elder Henry Strickler from First Thes., fourth chapter, and thirteenth verse. She was laid to rest in the cemetery west of town and her remains were followed by a number of sympathizing friends.

The family desire to express their appreciation of the kindness of their friends and neighbors in the sickness and death of their aged wife and mother.
