Died, at Grundy Center, Iowa, June 17, Mrs. Mary J. Scribner, aged 44 years and six months. She was born in Albany, Ill., and came to this place in 1880. Deceased has been three times married, and leaves a husband and five children. She united with the M. E. church ten years since. The Sabbath before her death she attended the class meeting and public service in her usual health. The next day she was attacked with erysipelas which carried her rapidly down. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord." Funeral services were held on Tuesday.
