Alex. Ralyea, who has suffered long and severely with dropsy, passed peacefully away at his home in Grundy Center last Sunday morning and was buried Tuesday. The interment was to be delayed until Wednesday that his only surviving brother, who resides in Pennsylvania, might be able to attend the funeral, but a telegram was received stating that he could not come on account of sickness. The deceased has been a resident of Grundy county for over thirty years, most of which time was spent on his farm in Lincoln township. He leaves a wife and one brother to mourn his death.
