Mrs. Susan Bailey, aged sixty-eight years, died at her home in this place Tuesday morning, and was buried yesterday afternoon. For the past sixteen months she has been almost helpless and was a great sufferer. Rev. Church officiated at the funeral.

Died, at Grundy Center, Iowa, January 17, 1893, Mrs. Susannah Bailey, aged 69 years.

Mrs. Bailey was born in England. When nine years of age she came to United States, and in 1843 was married to E. A. Bailey, who survives her. She leaves six children, who deeply mourn their loss. The deceased united with the M. E. church in early life. She had been partially paralyzed for over a year and was only waiting for the opening of the door by her Master.
