Voral Eileen Roberts, 77, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, June 22, 2009, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

She was born July 29, 1931 in Sheffield, Iowa the daughter of Alvin and Hanna (Voss) Bolk. Voral graduated from Sheffield High School in 1949 and from the Allen School of Nursing in 1952. She married William J. Roberts on June 14, 1953 at Sheffield, Iowa and he preceded her in death November 12, 1993.

Voral is survived by one son, Russ (Nancy) Roberts of Cedar Falls and one daughter, Melody E. (Kevin) Pons of Yankton, South Dakota; two grandchildren, Brendan "Bo” Pons and Bailey Pons; three step grandchildren and five great grandchildren and one brother, Melvin Bolk of Sheffield, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Fredsville Lutheran Church with inurnment at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church on Thursday. Memorials may be directed to the family.
