Dies at County Home

Mrs. Anna Weickers, 78, died Monday at the county home, where she had been staying for the past eight years. She had been in poor health for a year or more, but was bedfast only a short time.

Harm Rust, of Wellsburg, is a brother, and Mrs. Harm Penning, of Wellsburg, is an aunt. Besides above relatives, she leaves three sons and one daughter, the latter a resident of Kamrar, Ia.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Henrichs' church, northeast of Wellsburg.

Mrs. Anna Weichers Dies Suddenly At County Farm

Mrs. Anna Weichers died quite suddenly at the county farm Monday from heart failure. She had been in poor health for several months. Her remains were brought to the Coffman mortuary in Grundy Center. Funeral services conducted by Rev. K. J. Stratemeier were held there today. Later the body was taken to Heinrichs church in Shiloh township where services were held this afternoon. Burial was made in the cemetery adjoining the Heinrichs church.

Mrs. Weichers was 78 years old. She had been an inmate of the county farm for eight years. She was twice married. Her second husband is living. There are two sons, one at Buffalo Center and one at Kamrar. One daughter lives in Minnesota.
