Young Woman Dies

Mrs. LeRoy Hardie a Victim of General Tuberculosis

Mrs. Eliza Jan Hardie, wife of LeRoy Hardie, died at her home, 1114 Bluff street at 12:45 this morning, of tuberculosis, aged 27 years. Deceased had been a sufferer from this disease for a number of months.

Mrs. Hardie has been a resident of Waterloo about four years, coming here with the husband from Grundy Center in 1902. She formerly lived in Hardin county and was married in Grundy Center in 1901. She leaves no children. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. M. R. Scott, and three brothers, George, E. A., and Charles W. Scott.

The funeral services will be held at Grundy Center Saturday afternoon at 2:30 and the interment will be in the Clark cemetery near that place.
