Isbrandt Harken Dies in Florida

Word has been received here of the sudden death of Isbrandt K. Harken, 54, of Brooksville, Florida at 9:30 a.m. last Saturday. The funeral was held this week in Florida.

Mr. Harken was born on a farm near Ackley on May 27, 1903, and when he was 10 years old the family moved to a farm northeast of Wellsburg. He had spent between 15 and 20 years living in Chicago, and had made his home in Florida the past year and a half.

He is survived by his widow, one son and two daughters; his mother, Mrs. W. K. Harken of Ackley; two brother, Lester of Holland and Raymond of Ackley; and five sisters, Henrietta Meyer of Faulkner, Cora DeBerg of Ackley, Sarah DeBerg of Bristow, Helen Knavel of Lake Stevens, Wash., and Esther Harrision, Hampton.
