Funeral services for Charles Bausman, 57, who died suddenly Thursday of heart disease at his home east of Ackley, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday from his late home and at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed church at 2; born Feb. 24, 1889, in Pleasant Valley township, Grundy county, where he lived most of his life; married Anna Wessels in February, 1915; made their home on the farm in Pleasant Valley township; moved to the farm east of Ackley 14 years ago, where they have since lived; leaves widow, one son, Lee Irl; three brothers, Wayne and Bryan, Pleasant Valley; Lynn, Steamboat Rock; four sisters, Mary, on the old home place in Pleasant Valley township; Mrs. Jack Perry, Buck Grove; Mrs. Will Harms, Iowa Falls; and Mrs. Rose Fritzel, Klemme.
