Fanny L. Meester, Victim Of Cancer, Dies Monday

Miss Fanny L. Meester, daughter of Daniel Meester of Pleasant Valley township, died at her home Monday night. She had been a sufferer for several months from cancer.

Miss Meester was born in this county Feb. 13th, 1880, and she spent her entire life here. She is survived by her aged father and two brothers, John of Parkersburg and J. D. of Colfax township.

Funeral services to be conducted by Rev. Siemsen will be held at the home beginning at noon Thursday and later at the Siemsen church.

Meester Funeral Rites

Funeral services were held Thursday for Fanny L. Meester, 53, who died Monday at the home of her father, Daniel Meester, in Pleasant Valley township, at the Pleasant Valley Christian Reformed church with Rev. Victor Siemsen of Buck Grove officiating.

Services For Miss Fannie Meester Held Last Thursday

Funeral services for Miss Fannie L. Meester, daughter of Danl. Meester Sr., were held at the home in Pleasant Valley township on Thursday, and then at the German Reformed church, with her pastor, Rev. D. Siemsen, officiating. She was laid to rest in the cemetery adjoining the church, beside her mother who died eight years ago.

Miss Meester was born Feb. 13, 1880, and lived all of her life in Pleasant Valley township, and in the same section.

She leaves to mourn her departure, her aged father, two brothers, J. F. Meester and J. D. Meester of Pleasant Valley township, besides six nephews and three nieces.
