Mary Will, nee Hosig, died in peace on the 19th day of April in German township, Grundy county, Iowa, at the age of seventy-five years, four months, three days. She was born at Nufenen Rhinwold Canton Granbuenden, Switzerland. She came to America in the year 1854, and located in Hartford, Wis.

She was converted to God in 1856 and affiliated with the Evangelical church and remained faithful to her church and God until her death.

In the year 1858 she was joined in the hold bonds of matrimony with Gillman Will, who preceded her thirteen years ago into the other world. There remains one adopted son with family besides two sisters and one brother who thinks of her as a true and loving mother and sister, and a large host of friends.

The funeral services were conducted from Mr. Chris Tripp's home, April 22, at 11:30 o'clock a.m. and 1 o'clock p.m. at the Pleasant Valley church. Funeral sermon was preached by the pastor, Rev. W. F. Mucther, on Revelations 21:4, "Death will be no more." The remains were interred in the Pleasant Valley Evangelical cemetery. She was a very loving mother and an exemplary christian and all who met her, were pleased to be in her company. The Lord grant them a reunion in heaven.
