Jacob Cimmers, the young man who has had his limb amputated three times, undergoes another operation. Mr. Jeff Morrison, by directions of the Board of Supervisors, took him to Iowa City and a week ago last Friday they disjointed his hip. R. M. Finlayson, our County Auditor, received a letter from the patron saying that young Cimmers stood the operation well, with good chances of recovery.

Later--Since the above was put in type, Jacob Cimmers died, his remains was brought home last Tuesday.

The young man, Jacob Cimmers, died from the effects of the fourth amputation of his limb, was buried last Thursday.
