Mrs. Hattie Babbitt, after a few weeks of severe sickness, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. B. Thompson, one and one-half miles west of Grundy Center, Friday morning at one o'clock, aged 35 years and 11 months. The funeral services were held in the M. E. church Sunday afternoon. The sermon was preached by Rev. Haymond, after which the remains were buried in the cemetery of town.
