Mrs. Frauke Wolters, nee Kaiser, wife of Eilert Wolters, was born July 31, 1882 in East Friesland, Germany. She came to this country with her parents, who settled in this county where she grew into womanhood. She was united in holy wedlock with Eilert Wolters and made their home near Buck Grove. To this union three sons were born, Herman, Willie and Eilt.

After an operation, performed May 15 at the Deaconess hospital in Marshalltown, she remained many weeks at the hospital. She returned from the hospital very weak and suffering much pain. She was relieved when her soul departed last Wednesday, August 7.

Funeral services were conducted at the Siemsen church at which Rev. J. E. Drake officiated assisted by Calvin Siemsen. She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, Eilert Wolters, and three sons, Herman, Willie and Eilert, her aged father, John Kaiser, two brothers and one sister, and numerous friends.
