Mrs. H. Siefken Dies Suddenly Monday Night

Mrs. Henry Siefken died very suddenly at her home in Holland about 9:15 Monday night. She was seated at the table cracking nuts, when suddenly she collapsed and died almost instantly. A heart attack was the cause of the sudden death.

While her health had been failing the past year, members of her family attributed that to advanced age and they were not alarmed about her condition. It is believed that she had resided longer in the town of Holland than any other person now living. She and her husband moved here 52 years ago and they spent the remainder of their lives in the same home. They remodeled and enlarged the house somewhat after their family grew.

Funeral Services Friday

Funeral services will be held at the home at one o'clock Friday afternoon and later at the Christian Reformed church in Holland. Rev. Paul Holtrop will conduct the services. Burial will be by the side of the husband in the Lutheran cemetery.
