The remains of William Davis, of this city, were brought home yesterday morning from Beaman, in Grundy county, where he died quite suddenly on Wednesday. He was sick but about twenty-four hours and only thought to be dangerous about two hours before his death. The physician pronounced the disease paralysis of the stomach.
