GRUNDY CENTER — Services for Mrs. Catherine Bee, 83, who died Wednesday at her home, will be at 1:30 p. m. Friday at the Ferree-Abbas Funeral Home; burial in the Grundy Center cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, James of Tucson, Ariz., and Dale of Grundy Center; three sisters, Mrs. Dora Grimes of Grundy Center, Mrs. Elsie Bockes of Waterloo and Mrs. Christine Myers of Glendale, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services Friday For Mrs. Albert Bee At Local Funeral Home
Funeral service for Mrs. Albert Bee was held Friday at the Ferree-Abbas Funeral Home. Burial was at Rose Hill cemetery in Grundy Center.
Mrs. Bee died at her home at 410 I Avenue in Grundy Center on Wednesday, July 30th at the age of 83.
Dr. Andrew Hagen officiated at the services. Mrs. Glen Cone was the soloist. She was accompanied by Mrs. A. R. Trevillyan at the organ. Casket bearers were Elmer Geiter, Delbert Jungling, William Slater, LeRoy Dew, Lester Barfels and Marvin Barfels.
Mrs. Bee was born Catherine Sternborg, daughter of Lambert and Catherine Sternborg in Washington township, Grundy county, January 22, 1886.
She was married to Albert Bee of Clinton Falls, Indiana, on December 29, 1915, in Waterloo. They farmed the Lambert Sternborg farm until they moved to Grundy Center in 1960. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Mrs. Bee is survived by two sons, James L. Bee of Tucson, Arizona and Dale E. Bee of Grundy Center, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Dora Grimes of Grundy Center, Mrs. Christine Myers of Glendale, California and Mrs. Elsie Bockes of Waterloo.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons.
