HELTIBRIDLE, SHERBON

Grundy Center, la. — Funeral services for Mrs. Alva Heltibridle, 50, who died at 1 p. m. Tuesday of a blood clot after undergoing a major operation at University hospital in Iowa City two weeks ago, were planned for 2 p. m. Thursday from Methodist Episcopal church here. Burial will be in Alice Church of God Cemetery.

Fern Theone Sherbon was born Oct. 1, 1890, in Melrose township, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Sherbon. She was married to Aiva Heltibridle Jan. 25, 1911, and they lived on a farm in Palermo township until December 1929 when they moved to Grundy Center. She was a lifelong member of Alice Church of God and belonged to Rebekah lodge.

Surviving are the father: the widower; six children. Ralph of Waterloo; Mrs. Chester Skinner,
Detroit. Mich., and Helen, Lois, Mary and Glen, all at home; four grandchildren; a brother, Ben. of Kensett. Ia., and two sisters. Mrs. Charles Diehl, Grundy Center, and Mrs. William Kinsinger, Williams, Ia.
