Bena "Bea" Krull, 78, of Grundy Center, Iowa, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital, in Grundy Center, Iowa. Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M., Saturday, March 17, 2007, at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Grundy Center, Iowa, with Pastor Dan Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Grundy Center, Iowa. Visitation will be Friday, March 16, 2007, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center, where family will be present to greet friends. A memorial fund is established.

Bena was born April 14, 1928 in Kesley, Iowa, the daughter of Gerrit and Harmka (Russman) Eilderts. She attended country school near Kesley. Bena was united in marriage to Albert Krull at The Bethel Reformed Church Parsonage on June 12, 1953. After their marriage they began farming and Bena was right there to help Albert with the farming. Bena was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church. Bena enjoyed her and Albert's fishing trips to Cut Foot Sioux Resort in Minnesota, and she also enjoyed sewing and most of all visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Albert Krull of Grundy Center, Iowa; one daughter Karen Richman and her husband Gene of Grundy Center; three sisters Gertie Kolpek and her husband Adolph of Grundy Center; Ruth Mulder of Dike; Marie Menken and her husband Bruce of Greene, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, George Eilderts, Jerry Eilderts, Edward Eilderts, Steno Eilderts; three sisters, Tillie Fecht, Harmina Kruger and Elta Eilderts.
