Mrs. V. A. Lynn of Reinbeck, reached her eightieth mile post last Sunday and her children and grandchildren living in the county commemorated the event by spending the day with her. The dinner was prepared by Mrs. Dr. Trussell, who is an expert in the culinary art, and it was heartily enjoyed. The dear old mother was the recipient of many beautiful presents which will add to her enjoyment during her declining years. The children present on this occasion were Dr. and Mrs. T. M. Lynn, Mr. and Mrs. John F. Lynn, Dr. and Mrs. Trussell, together with their families, and Miss Delia A. Lynn.
