H. C. Buffington and Miss Mary Catharine Feezer were married May 22, 1890, at the home of the bride's parents in Mt. Carroll, Ill. They made their home in Mt. Carroll for four years and moved to Morrison in 1894. They are the parents of one daughter, Mrs. Carl W. Mulder of Morrison.

Mr. Buffington was born in Carroll county, Maryland, Dec. 16, 1865, and moved with his parents to Lanark, Ill., in 1877.

Mrs. Buffington was born at Mt. Carroll Aug. 8, 1867. She was appointed postmistress of the Morrison office in October, 1931, and is still serving in that capacity.
