Mrs. Asa Bowersock is quite sick with the inflammation of the bowels.

Mrs. Norris and daughter of Marshalltown are visiting E. Bowersock's.

Miss Rice is visiting her brother S. T. Rice.

Rev. Gravenstine preached quite an interesting sermon last Sabbath eve. He will preach here once in two weeks.

One of Mr. Tjadens and two of Mr. Micheals children nave the diptheria pretty bad.

Holland sports another blacksmith shop, a german from Parkersburg. Who says Holland does not boom?

Mr. John Ford has an attack of the neuralgia his face being swollen pretty badly.

Those folks that make it a business of playing ball and croquet on Sunday had better attend church instead of breaking the Sabbath.
