Jefferson Bee - Wednesday, December 21, 1910 - Mr. Oscar Pulliam passed away at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Pulliam, last Saturday morning after a long illness from tuberculosis, "Bud" Pulliam, as he was familiarly known to his many friends, was born at Fairfax, Highland county, Ohio, August 14, 1856, and came to Tipton, this State, with his parents when fourteen years of age.

Two years later he went to Kansas, but returned to Iowa in 1877. Four years ago he went to South Dakota, where be resided until two months ago, when he returned to Jefferson for medical treatment.

He leaves his aged parents, three brothers and two sisters to mourn his demise. His brothers, Ray and William, of this place, and Alpha, of South Dakota, and sister, Mrs. McNeil, of South Dakota, were present at the funeral. His other sister, Mrs. Greif, of Manila, Iowa, was unable to come.

The funeral was held at the Christian church at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon the pastor. Rev. William Baler, officiating. The interment was in Jefferson cemetery.
