Monday, Sept. 10, 1979

KENNETH WILSON

Funeral services for Kenneth Emery Wilson, 64, were held Wednesday, September 12, 1979 at the United Methodist church in Odebolt. The Rev. Thomas Hotle officiated.

Music was provided by Mrs. Leon Hoskinson and Mrs. Oscar Olson and Mrs. Marion Sonicksen were in charge of flowers.

Honorary attendants were Dorothy Salisbury, Jean Wellman, Kathy Wilson, Sharon LaRoe, Staci LaRoe, Dawn Wellman and Kim Wellman. Active attendants were Richard Wilson, Alan LaRoe, Randy Salisbury, Ronald Salisbury, Gary Wellman, Alan LaRoe, Jr. and Shawn Salisbury.

His body was donated to the Osteopathic School of Medicine in Des Moines for Science.

Kenneth Wilson was born September 12, 1914 at Paton, Iowa to William and Elizabeth Guess Wilson. He married Zola Hoskinson on December 31, 1939 at the Little Brown church in Nashua.

He lived in Jefferson for 30 years where he farmed. The last eight and a half years he had been foreman for Shinrone Farms. He was to have retired September 12. He died September 10 at Horn Memorial Hospital due to heart failure.

He is survived by his wife, four children, Mrs. Ron Salisbury, Mrs. Sharon LaRoe, and Mrs. Gary Wellman all of Des Moines and Richard Wilson of Sioux City; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Curtis, Earl and Elmo Wilson all of Jefferson; two sisters, Mrs. Weldon Franzeen of Auburndale, FA and Mrs. Raymond Crowder of Grand Junction and his parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Hoskinson of Grand Junction.
