Funeral services for James B. HOLDEN, 53, will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fairfield, at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

HOLDEN, who was a resident of Clarinda, died there Sunday morning.

Father Karl Holtkamp will officiate, with interment at Scranton Cemetery, Scranton, Iowa. The Raymond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born April 29, 1923 in Scranton, HOLDEN was the son of Ira Joseph and Lauretta Marie KOPPES HOLDEN. He spent his youth in Scranton and Green county communities.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Jack WARD, Fairfield, and one brother, Francis HOLDEN, Providence, Rhode Island.

HOLDEN was a member of the St. Columbkil Catholic Church in Churdan, Iowa.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister.
