Ira McClurg Buried In Wright Cemetery

Scranton-Ira McClurg passed
away at his home in Higbee. Mo.,
Thursday, May 16, at the age of
81 years and six months.

His body was brought to Jefferson
for services at the Church of
Christ Saturday, May 18.
Searsy White of Higbee, Mo.
was in charge, assisted by Glen
Hackler of Jefferson. Chas. Hicklin
sang "Going Down the Valley".

Mr McClurg leaves his wife and
one daughter. Mrs Raymond Pease
of Independence. Mo.

Burial was in the Wright cemetery.
Pall bearers were Rex Long,
Bill Gibson, Chas. Hartwigsen, Albine
Anderson, Marshall McClurg and
Buford McClurg.
