Mrs. Elen Irwin, wife of J. W. Irwin, living in town, died suddenly Sunday evening. She was sick but an hour or two. We did not learn the cause of her death.

The funeral was held at 1 o'clock Tuesday at the M. E. Church. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. Walburn.
