Yesterday morning in perfect good health with the exception of a slight headache, Mrs. J. E. Stahl, wife of Rev. E. Stahl, was going about her household duties as usual. The children were at school and Mr. Stahl was out in the country west of town calling members of his congregation. When Harry, the youngest child, a boy of almost six years, returned from school about 11:30, he found his mother in a comatose condition on the floor. He immediately ran over to a neighbor's and notified the folks there. Medical assistance was called at once and everything known to medical science was done but to no avail. She passed to her eternal rest this morning at 5:35.

Miss J. E. Hill was born in Peoria county, Illinois, August 26, 1854, joined the church early in life, and was married to Rev. M. Stahl, June 27, 1876. To them four children, town boys and two girls, were born and are now left motherless. She was a devoted wife and mother an earnest and tireless helpmeet to her husband in his ministerial work. She will be sadly missed in both home and church.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. D. C. Franklyn at the M. E. Church tomorrow at 12 o'clock. The remains will be taken to Princeville, Peoria Co., Ill., for interment. _Macedonia Blade Mch. 15.

The people of Sidney and vicinity remember Mrs. Stahl, wife of Rev. Stahl, who was at one time pastor of the M. E. Church and principal of our schools. Mrs. Stahl had a host of warm friends here who will be pained to learn of her death.
