At the home of her daughter in Prairie township, Oct. 12, 1894, Mrs. Susan R. Rush, aged 76 years old.

Mrs. Rush had been an invalid for more than five years with a complication of chronic diseases terminating in cancer, which was the immediate cause of her death.

She leaves two sons, John Rush, of Waterloo, Iowa, and Franklin Rush, of Farragut, and an only daughter, Mrs. Nannie Harding, at whose home she resided.

The funeral was largely attended from the house, services being conducted by Dr. R. R. Hanley, of the Church of Christ, and Pastor Walburn of the M. E. church. The remains were laid beside those of the husband in the Farragut cemetery.
