DIED

Howard Dallam, Emmetsburg, received a broken neck in a highway collision recently. He was conscious, but paralyzed from the neck down, for several days before his injuries proved fatal.

DIES OF INJURIES

EMMETSBURG, IA, AP-Injuries suffered in an auto accident Friday proved fatal Tuesday to Howard Dallam, 65, retired farmer and landowner. He died of a broken neck.

The accident occurred 16 miles northeast of here. Dallam is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
