DONNA LEE WALLING

Funeral services for Donna L. Walling, 54, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Witzleben Funeral Homes and Crematory, Bragaw Chapel, with Pastor Dale Umphrey of the Matanuska Assembly of God Church in Palmer officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. She died Sunday at Providence Hospital.

Born on March 13, 1931, in Thurman, Iowa, Mrs. Walling had lived in Alaska for the past 21 years. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post No. 9785 in Eagle River.

She is survived by her husband, Walter "Bud" Walling of Anchorage; one son, Steve Walling of Palmer; two stepsons, Walter R. Walling of Mill City, Ore., and Gary Walling of Spokane, Wash.; four brothers, Donald R. Weight of Omak, Wash., Brooks Weight of Oregon, Earl Weight of California and Gordon Weight of Puyallup, Wash.; five sisters, Connie Hooper, Audrey Sandaine, and Kay Bidden, all of Omak, Wash.; Bonnie Bolding, and Fern Harris both of Oregon; and four grandchildren.
