OBITUARY

Inez G. Larson, the fifth child of Fred and Kitty Larson, was born in Clarinda, Iowa, March 14, 1893 and passed away at St. Mary's hospital in Nebraska City, June 19, 1950 at the age of 57 years, 3 months and 13 days, following a long illness.

She spent her early childhood in Clarinda and in March 1916, moved with her family to Hamburg where she spent the remainder of her life. She was united in marriage to Earl Carie May 17th, 1924. Her husband, her parents, one brother, Dick preceded her in death. Surviving are her brother Rex, and three sisters, Daisy, Nellie and Pearl.

Mrs. Carie was a successful gardener and lover of flowers. She was active in a number of clubs. In December 1948, she became a member of the Catholic church at St. Mary's hospital in Nebraska City.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 22, at 10 a.m. at the St. Mary's church in Hamburg, conducted by Father P.A. Flavin. Burial was in the Hamburg cemetery.
