Through a love letter, the man who was killed by a fall from a Rock Island passenger train at Rockford, has been found to be Fred A. Hay of Randolph. His sweetheart was Miss Mollie Haney of Ames. With his mother, Mrs. Laura Antrim, of Randolph, she arrived to take care of the body.
Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1883 and is buried in Randolph Cemetery.
