Rebecca J. Boyle was born in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, December 25, 1843 and died at her home near Anderson, Iowa, September 7, 1913. On June 11, 1872, she was united in marriage to Dennis Duff in Armstrong Co. Pennsylvania and came immediately to the farm home in Fremont county where she has since resided. Her husband preceded her to the grave nine months ago. She is survived by one son and one daughter, Frank and Mary, also one sister, Mrs. Alice Duff of Anderson, and one brother of Bradford, Pennsylvania.

Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday morning at 9 0'clock conducted by Rev. Father Quinn of Red Oak assisted by Rev. Father Maher. Interment in the Catholic cemetery at Imogene.
