A beautiful life closed at the Hamburg hospital, Saturday, March 10, when Ruth Rice so young and beautiful passed to a blessed reward with her Savior, Jesus Christ.

She found her chief joy when her soul went out in praise to her Christ, whom she adored and loved. But the hand of God led her out and up into higher ministers of a better land, leaving behind her gracious memories in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. It is a great sorrow to lose from the home such treasurers, but only God knoweth how to recompense the hearts that mourn. I fiend myself asking why one so young and beautiful should die.

Call it not dying, timid ones who fear to cross the stream that lands you on the beauteous shore where heavenly graces beam. No, call it a peaceful rest, call it departing from this earth to live among the blest.
