Van Eaton, infant child of Mr. and Mrs. John Van Eaton died last Friday evening, 25 Aug 1895, after a short illness with cholera infantum.

The funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Congregational Church. Dr. A. R. Thain in charge. This being an only child, its loss is keenly felt by the afflicted parents, who have the sincere sympathy of the entire community.

A few years ago Leland Smith of Tabor, Fremont County, Iowa, abstracted obituaries from the Tabor Beacon newspaper. Tabor is on the county line between Mills and Fremont County, therefore the paper printed obituaries from both counties. These were later microfilmed by the LDS Church on microfilm #1491976.
