Pioneer Resident Dies.Albert Zuck died suddenly at his home, near Centennial church, Feb. 5, 1910, of heart failure.
Deceased was born in Carroll County, Missouri, Dec. 20, 1849, being about 60 years of age when the summons came. He was married to Miss Elizabeth Smith, of Hamburg,Ia., Feb. 29, 1972. He united with the M.E. church in 1873 and lived a consistent Christian life until God called him hence. He was a man of God, with all that the term implies, and hesitated not to stand for God and the right, regardless of the attitude of any. He will be missed in church circles. It was his "meat and drink to do the will of his Father in heaven."
He was buried at Grange hall on the 7th day of Feb., W.E. Tinney, pastor of the Centennial church, where Brother Zuck held membership, conducting the services. Mr. Zuck leaves two noble sons and three splendid daughters and a wife, to mourn their loss, all of them members of the Centennial church.
May the blessing of Him who is able to bind up the broken heart, sustain the sorrowing ones!
The funeral text was James 4:14. "And when he died the place had never seen a larger funeral."
