Obituary for Emma Angeline Harris Lord, Rites Thursday for Mrs. Lord

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, at the Fassbender funeral home for Mrs. E. Angeline Lord who died at 3:10 a.m., Tuesday at the Duff Nursing home. Mrs. Lord had been ill several months. The Rev. H. W. Theimann will officiate and burial will be at the Grand View Cemetery, Knox, IA.

Mrs. Lord was born May 12, 1876 at Kirkland, Indiaba, the daughter of Benjamin and Harriet Harris. She married Frank Lord December 30, 1896 at Nebraska City. Mrs. Lord who came to Nebraska City in 1879, formerly lived at Percival, Iowa. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Sligar, Griswold, Iowa., and Mrs. Naomi Frankes, Percival; two sons, Asa Lord, Payne, Iowa., and Sturgis Lord, Peoria, Illinois; three sisters, seven grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. Her husband died in 1934.

Pallbearers will include Carl, James and David Sligar, Carl Humbert and Robert Lord.
