Mrs. Mary Jane Gillespie, daughter of Jake and Mary Jane Rogers, was born at Gallatin, Mo. on Feb. 23, 1881, and died Nov. 19, 1965 at Rock Port. Mo. at the age of 81 yrs., 8 months and 26 days.

One Dec. 26, 1896 she was married to Robert Gillespie. Five children were born to this union. One infant son died at birth. Her husband died Jan. 19, 1959.

Survivors are two sons, Albert of Shenandoah and Pierce of Shenandoah; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Addleman of Kimball, Nebr. and Mrs. Velma Hartman of Watson, Mo., one brother, John Rogers of Shenandoah; two sisters, Mrs. Zona Robinson of St. Joseph and Mrs. Nellie Moss of Manhattan, Kan: 24 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Johnson Funeral Home Mon., Nov. 22 with Rev. Roy Wingate officiating. Burial was in High Creek Cemetery.
