Feb 7, 1935Mrs. Olive Parker was born to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Trullinger, 42 years ago and died January 30 at the Hamburg Hospital at 12:30 p.m. She is survived by her husband, Elmer Parker; one young adopted son; her parents; two sisters Pearl Snyder and Bessie Richardson of Shenandoah; four brothers, Milt, Isaac & Dolliver of Farragut, and Earl of Nebraska. She had spent her entire life in this community.
The funeral services were held on Friday at 2:30 p.m. from the Congregational Church. Rev. Cecil of Shenandoah officiated.
CC Campbell, Seth Cox, Fred Long and George Carier furnished the music with Mrs. Albert Turnball at the piano. The beautiful flowers were in charge of Mrs. Dollie Bangs and Mrs. Pete Gregory and Mrs. Van Cook. The pallbearers were JJ Whisler, FH Roberts, BF Herriman, GIles Bright, Ray Cox and Bert Lightfoot.
Among the out of town relatives present were Mr. John Trollinger, Mr. and Mrs. D Redfield, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Trullinger, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Trullinger of Shenandoah, and Frank Hampton of Omaha. The funeral was largely attended. Burial was made in the Farragut Cemetery.
